Last year I adopted a Yorkie from a family that couldn’t keep her anymore and she’s been a special part of my life ever since!  She’s become such an important part of my life that when the day comes, I’d love to include her in our wedding ceremony.

I also absolutely love it when my clients involve their beloved pets in their ceremonies and I’ve had the privilege of being a part of some recently, however if you plan to have your pet be a part of your wedding day, ask yourself the following questions first:

1. Does my venue allow animals at the ceremony and/or reception site(s)?

2. Do I have someone who I trust that can watch my pet before, during, and after the ceremony?

3. Is my pet comfortable around strangers/big groups of people?

All of these factors play into a succesful ceremony.
