I must say I’m a little bit starstruck as I write this post. Last night a few of my colleagues and I had the pleasure of tasting cakes from Charm City Cakes West. That name probably sounds familiar to you if you’ve ever watched the popular show”Ace of Cakes” on the Food Network. They have just recently branched out to Los Angeles area and opened a second shop and I have to say that they not only impressed me with their amazing 3-D and wedding cakes designs, but their flavor combinations like, Smores and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip were to die for.

Here I am with the owner, Duff Goldman, I felt so silly asking for a photo, but I just couldn’t resist.

Hot Wedding Trend-Vintage Mismatched Plates

Just recently I had the privilege of working with a client who was interested in purchasing vintage plates to be displayed at her wedding . We had a great time shopping all over town at vintage shops to find dinner plates, dessert plates and glasses for her 80 guest reception. Her reception tables looked absolutely lovely and the vintage pieces we found really completed the look. Can’t wait to get her pictures back to share them with you.
