A few months ago, I was asked to join The Knot and MySpace team for the second season of Married on MySpace. When I agreed to be a part of this, little did I know how exciting this experience would be!
Dehlia and Graeham’s wedding took place at The Hotel Maya in Long Beach, California. Every detail of their wedding from the bride’s dress, to their signature drink was voted on by the MySpace audience. Because of our amazing team, every detail tied together, except for the unfortunate decision of the bridesmaid dresses. The winning vote required the bridesmaids to wear hot dog suits and although they looked cute in these costumes, the girls were pretty upset. In the end, the MySpace team decided to compromise and only made them wear the suits down the aisle and then they changed into beautiful green dresses.
As the night went on, more surprises were introduced to their wedding guests, a composed song by the bride and groom right before they tied the knot, breakdancers and belly dancers.
This was such an amazing experience and I’m so thrilled I was asked to be a part of it!
Here are some pictures from their special day:
During dinner, the guests were entertained by belly dancers.
We ended the night with a delicious cake from Vanilla Bake Shop.
