Just in time for Easter, Martha Stewart had a wonderful episode on decorating Easter eggs. I can’t remember the last time that I decorated eggs for Easter. I have such fond memories from when I decorated eggs as a child, but today there are just so many more ways to decorate them. You can dye your eggs, etch your eggs, paint your eggs, enhance your eggs with glitter, tissue paper and string etc.
There is however one particular part of the segment that means a lot to me and that is the part where they talk about the Lithuanian “Marguciai” or Eggs. Being Lithuanian myself, I love it when things are mentioned about my culture.
