Mitch and Michelle ~ Love Shoot

I just can’t get enough of this engagement shoot! Heather and Grayson really rocked these photos! They are such a fun and vibrant reflection of Mitch and Michelle’s (known in the office as M + M ) personalities. It’s been such a blast working with you both and I can’t wait for your wedding next month!

Ahhh the shadows captured in these photos are sooo romantic!

Sneak Peek to Jen and Peyton’s Wedding at Thompson Hotel, Beverly Hills

Jen and Peyton recently got married on the rooftop of The Thompson Hotel. Oh the view from their rooftop is simply breathtaking!!!

Not only were they such a pleasure to work with, but their wedding was REALLY fun to work.  The evening’s festivities began with a group photo with all of their guests wearing vintage Ray Bans. Later on during one of their toasts, 30 of their guests went into a “Surprise Flash Mob Dance”. The bride and groom had no idea that we were all in on it! 🙂  They then ended the night with sparklers and a jump in the pool. I still can’t believe that so many of their guests jumped in the pool along with them. Glad we had towels on stand by just in case. 😉

Can’t wait to share all of their pictures and stories with you. For now, here’s a sneak peek! Enjoy!

Love Shoot with Alla & Eddie

This August, Alla and Eddie are getting married at The Legendary Park Plaza, in Los Angeles and I can’t wait for their wedding day celebration. They recently took their engagement photos and I must say, they look amazing! I love when brides and grooms bring a couple of outfits to change in to, it makes for a fun and unique shoot.

Thank you Anika London for their beautiful photos!

Pretty Nails for your Big Day

Shellac and Axxium claim to be a new nail polish that’s chip free for at least 2 weeks. Well, if you’re like me, you’re probably a bit skeptical, but I have to say that I tried it out and it totally worked! After years and years, of regular manicures, it’s so refreshing to get a manicure that’s chip free for 2 weeks +. Totally worth every penny! Now fast forward to your wedding day… how amazing would it be to get your nails done for your big day and have them chip free from your wedding day through to the end of your honeymoon.

Here are some of my favorite picks for wedding day nails.

What color are you painting your nails for your wedding day? Something subtle? Or something wild?

Sadute- A Lithuanian Wedding Dance

Not too many people know this about me, but growing up I spent my Saturdays in Lithuanian School. Every Saturday we would have classes in history, grammar, religion, song and polka dance. (Yes I said polka dancing and of course dancing was my favorite class!)

Now that I’m out of school I don’t have time or the opportunity to polka dance anymore. 😦 However last month my very dear friend, Karina got married and it was the perfect occasion to polka dance once more.

During a Lithuanian reception there are a couple of traditions that take place and one of my favorites is a dance called, Sadute. Sadute is a wedding dance which is performed as a farewell to the bride in her honor.

Unfortunately the video was taken by a non-professional so it’s pretty dark, but I hope you can still view and enjoy it!

Bride and Bloom Wedding Couple-Sugey and Josiah

This past holiday weekend I had the pleasure of providing floral arrangements for Sugey and Josiah’s “Nautical” themed wedding. It was such a fun process, starting with a photo shoot where they selected our design, to actually seeing it come to life for their big day. Can’t wait to see all of their wedding pictures in the January issue of The Bride and Bloom Magazine!
